The deadline for applications for the 2007-2008 academic year is December 15, 2007.

Application must be made on-line at this location. This site will not be available until some time on August 31.

Applications must include three letters of recommendation, transcripts of all colleges or universities attended, GRE General Test scores, and a writing sample. The GRE school code is 4834 and the department code is 2801.

The application fee is $60 for domestic applications and $80 for international. The fee may be paid by credit card or e-check. The fee must be paid before the application will be considered as complete, and the fee must be paid for each application submitted.

Letters of recommendation and the writing sample must be submitted electronically through the on-line application, which will provide instructions for submission. Hard-copy letters or writing samples will not be accepted.

Transcripts must be submitted in hard copy. Students applying to more than one graduate program at UC Davis should submit transcripts only once, either to their first choice of program or to the program for which the first application has been completed.
