Current Graduate Handbooks and Checklists

The current Graduate Handbook reflects the program degree requirements that were approved by Graduate Council in 2014.  All graduate students who enter the program in the fall of 2014 or in subsequent years should make themselves familiar with the contents of the 2014 Handbook. Students who entered the graduate program before the fall of 2014 should consult the Graduate Handbook that was current at the time of their admission.  We here post the three most recent handbooks; 2012 handbook2009 handbook, and 2006 handbook.

There are also useful checklists and time-lines that list all the requirements for the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in a simple format that we hope will make it easier for students to follow their progress through the program.  There is an M.A. checklist as well as a Ph.D. checklist.

There are also a handbook and a compendium of advice for Teaching Assistants.
