Philosophical Gender Minoritized Students (GeMS)

Groups of students and faculty in a library

Philosophical Gender Minoritized Students (GeMS) is a social club for philosophically minded undergraduates, focusing on issues faced by women, nonbinary, transgender, or other identities outside of the gender binary. Everyone is welcome to attend! We meet every other week to create a safe and welcoming community. Our community supports each other to propel gender minoritized students forward in their philosophical pursuits. Together we have game nights, rant nights, potlucks, guest speakers, and many other fun activities to make new friends and explore philosophical issues pertaining to gender minoritized people. We hope you’ll join our community!

Contact the current faculty advisor, Dr. Tina Rulli (trulli@ucdavis.edu), to be added to the GeMS mailing list and learn more about their upcoming events.
