Philosophy Department

I am a first-year Ph.D. student whose research interests generally lie between logic, the history and philosophy of science, and the philosophy of mathematics. Currently, I am preoccupied with whether logical and mathematical conventionalism generalizes to other domains, such as modal and scientific language. I am also interested in formal epistemology, conceptual engineering, and any area of philosophy where formal methods and historical considerations can be informative.
